Yesterday I showed you the harder side of motherhood and today I’ll show you the amazing, magical, nothing beats this, other side.
I have no perfect words to say how much support I feel from inside of my phone sometimes and whilst I know social media has its down sides, I really can’t express how much I’ve felt like there’s so many amazing people I’ve had the pleasure of talking to on here who make me feel like I have that ‘motherhood village’ that you hear people talk about, right here. And for that I just want to say the biggest thank you.
The announcement last night brought some relief! Schools go back in less than two weeks, by the end of March we will be able to meet with another household outside, non-essential shops and restaurants will open in April, we'll be able to meet with another household or as a 6 in May and by June social distancing limits may end!

It’s amazing to think that our near future isn’t so uncertain anymore. And it’s incredible to think that things like meeting with family and friends, going on days out and to restaurants and on carefree holidays could be a thing again in the not so distant future isn’t it?! I mean, it’s hard to say when exactly because we all know things can change, but the announcement last night gives us hope. And honestly it’s so refreshing to see some good news for once isn’t it?!
It’s okay of course if you feel nervous or worried about things still. I do too. I desperately don’t want to worry about being too near to someone else or touching the same things as someone outside of my household. I desperately want that carefree freedom back without the risk of contracting or spreading a deadly virus, but what I am taking comfort from is that we’re going in the right direction. Slowly and steadily we’re heading back to where we all want to be.
