Our house is a bit upside down at the moment with all of the renovation work that is happening (catch up via my YouTube page if you'd like to see what I mean), but there a couple of rooms that we are still able to escape to when all the chaos of the buiding work is going on and one of those rooms in Ethan's bedroom.
Recently we were contacted by a company called Posterlounge who offer an absolutely enormous range of different wall pictures and art prints to suit every style and unique taste. I spent ages on their website browsing through all of the different pictures available and I found so many that I loved straight away. I came away with so many ideas for different prints and artwork for when the house is finished and ready to decorate. I also found some ideas for now for my eldest Son's bedroom - Ethan has recently turned five and I thought a bit of new art work in his room would be the perfect way to spruce up his room a little whilst also evolving the room to match his more grown up personality as well as his current interests.
One of the other prints we have is the World Map With Animals which we chose because of the mix between the travel and animal themes - things we both love as a family. We chose this in a 30x20cm poster for Ethan to have next to his bed so that he could clearly see it from his bed and be able to learn about our world and the animals in it. The other print we chose is The Cat and The Frog print which is on a Forex material which is really lightweight making it ideal to hang above his bed like we have.
Ethan loves having the world map right next to his bed, it's the perfect place for him to be able to sit and point out different places in the world and the different animals and countries they are from.
Posterlounge have also recently introduced colouring posters to their online store and Ethan had a lot of fun colouring in an animal-themed poster whilst his brother coloured in a colouring book with him. You can order the colouring posters in a whole range of different sizes but we opted for an A4 print as we I had a frame in mind for it. I really like this idea as it adds an even more personal element and is lovely for the children to see their finished posters being put in frames or up on the wall.

Posterlounge were kind enough to send us three pieces of wall art and we decided that as Ethan's main interest at the moment is anything cat-related we decided to incorporate his love for cats in his room decor. I think my most favourite addition is the 'In The Tree' print that we opted to have printed on Alu-Dibond material. The image is absolutely perfect for Ethan, in fact so much so I am sure the little boy is based off of him! ;) The Alu Dibond material it's on has a matte finish and really rich colours, it's also water resistant so if you wanted to hang some wall art up in the bathroom or kitchen it's a great choice.

Ethan's finished colourful animal colouring poster.
We're so pleased with how the prints we chose have spruced up Ethan's room and have helped to incorporate more of his personality in to his room decor. If you are looking for wall art/prints for any room in your own home I really recommend taking a look at Posterlounge for inspiration.
