A while ago we were contacted by a brand that was, at the time new to us, called Andy Pandy - a small family-operated business who sell Bamboo Disposable Nappies, Organic Baby Lotions and Baltic Amber Teething Necklaces. The inspiration behind their eco-friendly products has been inspired by their love for their children and for the planet and so they make their nappies from bamboo - a renewable and sustainable resource and their Baltic Amber Necklaces are 100% natural and come from the Baltic Sea.
They asked us if we would be happy to try their Bamboo Disposable nappies with Logan and then write a review about what we thought of them and I was more than happy to. There are five sizes available currently - newborn, small, medium, large and extra large and for Logan aged just over two years old, they sent us their extra large size which I'm happy to say have fit him absolutely perfectly. There is a really helpful and handy size guide available for their nappies over on their website which is great if you aren't too sure when it comes to sizing.
The waistband on the nappies is elastic and they have flexible side panels that stretch to make the nappies more comfortable (always great for active toddlers). As as I said above, the fit on Logan is perfect and our little Logan is one very active little man indeed!
During the time we've been using them we've had absolutely no leakages, even on the odd occasion where we've left his nappy on overnight and haven't changed it as soon as he has got up. We've had zero nappy rash, again even when we've not applied a barrier cream and Logan seems really comfortable, so we've been really impressed by them.
In terms of anything else, it would be great to potentially see a nappy pant / pull up version in the future I think. And whilst they are a little on the pricey side compared to some other nappies, when you compare them to other bamboo/eco nappies they are actually quite competitive and they even have a sale on at the moment over on Amazon.co.uk. There are also quite a lot of nappies in each pack which is really good and makes them better value. I believe that there are 50 in the newborn pack and in the largest size (the one that we have) there are 62.
