My boys love their books. Ethan owns tons and tons and now Logan has his own little collection going on too! I often catch Logan flicking through random books, pointing at different things on the pages. It's pretty adorable and I love that they both love being read to.
Recently the boys were sent a really lovely book from Ladybird Books called When Sarah Met Duck by Sarah Gomes Harris, it's a book aimed at children aged between 2-5 years old, about a girl named Sarah that whilst crunching through the snow hears a strange sound coming from the bushes and finds Duck. The pair play together in the park and you get to learn how the two become friends with each other. This is the first book in a series of When Sarah Met Duck books, so this is just the first of many tales of their friendship.
Logan at seventeen months enjoys flicking through the book and looking at all of the lovely illustrations, he likes hearing me make the noises like, "Quack Quack' and 'Crunch! Crunch!' and he also enjoys listening to the story.
Ethan is a fan too and really enjoys the story. It's the perfect length for both of their ages and I love that it is a board book, as I don't need to worry so much about it getting ripped or destroyed. It's such a lovely story and one I think many young children would enjoy.
