Aah how are we only 5 days away!! November/December where did you evaporate to so fast?!
And on that note.. I really had better start the wrapping! Typically, my back would start feeling really bad just before Christmas, just before I've sat and wrapped many many presents.. I think I'm going to have to rope the Hubby into this one! Though.. I guess I should probably wrap up his presents myself! ;)
So our plans for Christmas.. well, we're undecided for Christmas Eve, we typically spend our Christmas Eve's watching Christmas films, lighting candles and wearing our Santa hats whilst we finish off the last bit of wrapping. (We're very often rather last minute!). But this year there is a little Christmas party in our local village pub suitable for all ages, so we might venture out to that.
On Christmas Day, we'll spend the morning watching Logan and Ethan open up their stockings on our bed. It'll mostly be Ethan doing the opening, but that's okay, that's what big brothers are for when you're only five months old. Then after that I'm sure we'll head downstairs, grab some breakfast and open up the bigger presents that Santa will hopefully have left us under the tree. I can't wait to see Ethan's face.. I really can't. We've been talking about presents and Santa and Christmas for so long now - it'll be amazing to tell him that, 'Today is THE day'.
After that we'll be heading to Adams Aunties with his family for Christmas dinner and the rest of the day and evening. We've never been to hers before, so that'll be really lovely.
Adam is working on Boxing Day unfortunately, but only until 6. I will see my family in the morning and then the boys and I will be heading over to Adams parents house for dinner, where Adam will join us later on in the evening. We've also planned to go again to Adams parents on the Monday after Christmas, where we'll be joined by more of the family. I'll also find a day as close to Christmas as I can to see my two half sisters and their children - we get together every year and do a little day of Christmas, it's nice for Ethan (and Logan) to get to see and play with their cousins.
I still can't believe that Christmas is really here. Where did 2015 go? I mean, it's been amazing, but seriously, did time speed up?! Christmas is going to be full of magic for us this year I just know it, I want to cherish and treasure every single second of being a Mummy to my little boy at Christmas time, because we all know the true magic of it all is felt by children, but also by their parents who proudly watch their childs faces light up with absolute glee.
