La Millou | Review and Giveaway

An email arrived in my inbox from a lovely lady from an online brand called La Millou just over a month ago now. Originally a Polish brand but now successfully selling in the UK, La Millou sell a number of different sorts of products for babies and children such as blankets, quilts and pillows, as well as baby bibs, soft boots, hats and even some childrens play products like teepees and sensory fun pads.

Keen to find out my thoughts, they kindly offered to send me a gift for Logan, his gift turned out to be an unbelievably soft luxurious baby and toddler blanket with a matching stylish flat pillow for newborns. When the package first arrived with us I actually got really excited way before I'd even seen the products inside because I was so impressed by how the items had been packaged. They'd been placed inside of an ecological La Millou bag which had been decorated with a heart hanger with the words, 'Thank you for choosing me' written on it. I though this was such a lovely touch - I've reviewed a fair amount of products in the time that I've been blogging and I generally do find that the better quality items seem to come from within packages where it's very obvious that a lot of thought and care has gone in to how that product itself has been packaged.

The gorgeously designed La Millou blanket that Logan was kindly sent is a combination between a pram sized trendy non-allergenic blanket for children and a small padded quilt - it is unbelievably soft and to be quite honest I am totally jealous of Logan and would very much like to own my own adult sized La Millou blanket/quit - which I'd then lay on the sofa under and probably never move again! The unique baby cot pillow is a great first pillow, it's perfect for Logans age as it's pretty much s flat pillow, but the padded cushioning inside of the soft outer material offers his small delicate head a comfortable place to rest. Even my Husband Adam made several comments about how lovely both the packaging and the products are, saying something on the lines of "How great is it that your blog allows you to discover companies like this?!". And so to sum up what we all think of our products from La Millou, all I'll say is that if you can impress my Husband who has very little interest in baby products like this, then I'm pretty sure we must be on to a bit of a winner!
