Trunki | Review and Giveaway

Anyone that has seen our short video of our trip to Cornwall last week, will have seen just how much Ethan has been loving his brand new Trunki. It's like all of a sudden with getting his own little personal suitcase, he's found a little more independence. He doesn't want us to pull it along for him or help him with it.. he doesn't say it but it's sort of like he's got this adorable independent type of attitude of 'No Mama! I've got this!' which really makes his Dad and I smile. 

The Trunki we chose for Ethan is called the Terrance (priced at £34.99), it's one of the original blue Trunki's and though there were so many others to choose from, we're really happy with our choice. You get a five year guarantee with every Trunki, as the company are so confidence of the quality of their cases and the fact that they can withstand all the wear and tear an excited toddler or child can throw at it. After receiving ours, I have to admit that I'm pretty confident of this too as the quality really is quite good.

I think that most people, especially parents, are familiar with the Trunki brand, but if you're not I'll run down just some of the great features that the Trunki suitcases offer.. There's 18 litres of capacity which means there's lots and lots of space to pack toys, clothes, books, games - whatever you want inside! There are two secure lockable catches on either side which means that possessions stay nice and safe. It's lightweight and durable - perfect for toddlers to pull along themselves if they wish to. It also features a comfy saddle, which means that kids can rest their tired legs by sitting on top of it, they can also hold on to the horn grips for stability. There's a tow strap with key and a carry handle too on the Trunki, as well as an internal pocket and a teddy bear seatbelt! 

I should mention that although Ethan aged two, uses his.. Trunki do recommended that it' should be used from 3+ years. So that's worth keeping in mind if you are thinking about purchasing a Trunki yourself for your little one. We've not found it to be a problem, as generally Ethan just pulls his Trunki along, but if he does go to sit and ride on it, then we do have to hold him, just whilst he's at the age and height that he is currently.
