This week I turned 32 weeks pregnant, I have just over 7 weeks to go and can now say that I will be a Mum of two next month! Which seems to have gone scarily, crazily fast!
This week I've felt pretty exhausted again. I'm struggling a lot to be honest and with Ethans age and a level of activeness, it's been so hard and that's with having Adam home so much! I really don't know how all of you other Mama's do it?!
I've felt a little sick the past few days too, which is very unlike me as I rarely feel sick and am yet to ever physically be sick during this or my previous pregnancy. I've also felt a little light headed and at times faint. I know this sounds like it's connected to iron levels possibly, but they've been checked and whilst they're a little low - they're sort of normal for a woman in her third trimester. Even so, I have been drinking more Spatone with orange juice and I'm still taking my Pregnacare, which has iron in it.
This sounds maybe a bit odd.. but I've been finding baby #2's movements a little painful.. not really painful, just quite a bit more uncomfortable than I remember finding Ethans movements. I wonder if perhaps this has something to do with how he's sitting in my stomach? Perhaps that could even be connected with what's making me feel more queasy? Who knows! But I sort of feel like he's trying to burst out of my skin!
When I went to my midwife appointment last week, they told me they thought he was head down.. but at my growth scan this week they confirmed that he's now got his head up my ribs, so he seems to have flipped back over!
I also found out via my scan that my placenta is now where it should be, so baby can have a clear exit when the time comes. Which means I don't need to worry about booking in a c-section. Which I'm pretty glad of, as I think I might have had a bit of a huge panic trying to prepare myself to have my stomach cut open!
For comparison here's my 32 week pregnancy update with Ethan: 32 Weeks - You've got Hair!

ReplyDeleteSachets of Spatone to get the same effect from 1 Galfer Iron Tablet! They are a con and expensive! I was drinking them and my consultant said they were rubbish!! X
Oh really? I've always found Spatone to be pretty good. xox
DeleteI gave birth to my first at 33+1. Very scary. So glad to hear you have a clear exit now.
ReplyDeleteOh wow. I bet it was! xox
DeleteBrilliant news that everything is the right place now for a natural birth :)! I feel exactly the same this time about movements. It feels like this little boy is trying to push his way out of my skin constantly! Xx
ReplyDeleteYep, that's exactly what I am feeling!! xox
DeleteI found my second and third pregnancies so much more tiring too. And i remember my last baby was so painful when he moved at times. It really is flying by for you, how exciting xx
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear your placenta has moved. I remember the movements hurting too x
ReplyDeleteSo glad that the placenta has moved :) I remember the movements hurting. Ben always kicked me in the same place super hard, and then it always seem to feel like I was bruised inside where he'd kicked me!
