I'm now 27 weeks pregnant with baby #2 (28 on Monday) and I'm really starting to feel heavily pregnant. I seem to feel every single movement now and I'm always seeing and feeling what I believe are his feet poking out on the right side of my stomach. It's so lovely to feel him move and be so active but sometimes it hurts and can be quite uncomfortable. My uterus is now very close to my rib cage and this causes shortness of breath and feels pretty uncomfortable too - I remember this same feeling well from when I was pregnant with Ethan. My bump is so obvious now and I'm growing out of my clothes really fast. I feel huge already and I'm not sure how much bigger I'm going to get considering I've got just over 12 weeks left. I worry that baby #2 is going to be as big or bigger than his brother! Here's Ethans 27 week bump update for comparison.
My chest is covered in veins, it looks really odd, but I remember the same thing happening when pregnant with Ethan too.
I can't quite believe that this week marks the end of the second trimester! I always say it, but time is really flying by! I want to learn to relax a bit more and enjoy being pregnant, I'm always on the go and constantly busy - but I may never be pregnant again and so I want to make sure I take the time out to enjoy my last trimester as much as I possibly can.
I've started to put baby's clothes out in the wardrobe and chest of drawers in Ethans room. He won't have his own room for around a year or so as we are saving for an attic conversion as Adam uses our third bedroom as a sort of warehouse for his business and we don't have anywhere else for his stock to live. Baby #2 will sleep with us for the first 6 months in his crib and then we'll adjust Ethans room around so that they can share for a few months after that. Just until we have enough money for the conversion and then we can adjust all of the rooms about to find a solution that works for us as a family whilst incorporating Adams business in to the house.

Baby #2's weekly bump updates
I love your bump pictures - you are glowing! Yay to the third and final trimester xx
ReplyDeleteSuch a perfect bump :)
ReplyDeleteI can understand why you'd want to try and enjoy this pregnancy as much as you can. Must be hard with a toddler to run around after though. Even if you can just take a few minutes out each day to sit and spend time with 'bump' it will make a difference. :)
