The Fifteen Festive Favourites Tag

I really enjoyed reading Hayley's (Sparkles and Sretchmarks) answers to the fifteen festive favourites tag and I was lucky enough to be tagged by her to answer the 15 Christmas-themed questions myself. (Thanks Hayley). So here goes, here are my 15 festive favourites..

1. Favourite Festive Food?

I love all of the chocolate that is about! Lindt, Terrys chocolate orange, Ferrero Rocher. And I love Yule Logs and though it's not technically a food, I do love a good old drink of Baileys at Christmas.

2. Favourite Reindeer?

I don't have a favourite, so I'll go for the obvious choice - Rudolph!

3. Favourite Day of Christmas?

Apart from Christmas day itself, I love Christmas Eve. I love the excitement before the big day -  I love finishing off wrapping everyone's Christmas presents and watching Christmas films including 'The Snowman' in the evening.

4. Favourite Christmas Song?

I love hearing them all! But my very favourite is The Pogues - Fairy Tale of New York.

5. Favourite Present?

I'm with Hayley on this. I love receiving new pyjamas - you can't go wrong! It's such a nice feeling getting into new jammies on the evening of Christmas day! It's just the cherry on top of the icing for me!

6. Favourite Festive Film?

I don't quite know why it's my favourite, as I'm not a massive fan of the actor that stars in it, but I do love Elf. And I also watched The Grinch last year for the first time and really liked that too!

7. Favourite Festive Cracker Toy?

I'm not sure that I have a favourite. Last year I won a luggage ID tag which came in useful for our holiday this year! ;)

8. Favourite Cracker Joke?

I honestly don't remember any. So I actually just googled some and thought this was quite funny..

'What's the no.1 Christmas wine?'....

'I don't like Brussel Sprouts.' (whine) Ahh ;)

9. Favourite Christmas Decoration?

It's got to be the tree itself. There's nothing better than a sparkling lit-up Christmas tree at Christmas!

10. Favourite Christmas Candle Scent?

I currently have Yankee Candles 'icicles' that I have actually very nearly burnt all the way through and it's really lovely and very Christmassy.

11. Favourite Christmas TV Advert?

I think the John Lewis advert with the penguin this year is really lovely.

12. Favourite Festive Tradition?

I love the tradition of receiving a Christmas stocking from Santa at the end of your bed. 'Santa' left me one up until I moved out of my family home and I so miss waking up to a big sack of toys resting on top of my duvet above my feet. But now I get to watch Ethan experience it. :)

13. Favourite Place to Spend Christmas?

Adam and I usually go to his parents house with Ethan on Christmas day and we always have a lovely time. Christmas morning is spent at our own house opening our presents and listening to Christmas songs.

14. Favourite Christmas Fact?

Even though most of Santas reindeers appear to have male sounding names. I've heard that male reindeers in fact shed their antlers around Christmas time. So that would make it much more likely that the reindeers pulling Santas sleigh are female.

15. Favourite Snowman Accessory?

I love their carrot noses and the big black buttons on their chests.
