I am not the cook in our house, my Husband is. I'm just not particularly very good at cooking, but I do all of the grocery online-shopping and I pick out our meals each week. I am very conscious of what we eat as we are a family of vegetarians and my Husband and I take the responsibility of raising Ethan into a healthy young man very seriously.
I spend lots of time looking through cookbooks, picking out new meals for us to try and I thought that it might be nice to share some of my favourite go-to cook books for what I think are fantastic veggie-friendly recipes.
1. Quorn Kitchen
This is the best cook book for vegetarians I have ever used! We make so many of the recipes from it. They're simple and easy to make and the instructions are so clear. The meals we've had from of this book are now among some of our favourite dinners.
2. Veggie Nomics
This one is fairly new to me, but I already love it. There is so much recipe variety inside and even the introduction makes for an interesting read. The meals are simple to make yet taste absolutely amazing!
3. Kitchen Encyclopedia - Vegetarian
I also love this one which I picked up online from M&S, it was initially priced at £10 but I got it for £5, so it was an absolute bargain. I'm not sure if they still sell it, but I'm sure it will be available to buy on the Internet somewhere. This recipe book contains so many different and very tasty recipe ideas and lots of nutritional information which is even better. We love cooking from this book!
