Like many women I adore anything sentimental. That's why I'd lusted after a Pandora bracelet for all that time, I liked the concept, maybe not so much the price tag but the concept had really stood out to me. Having the lovely Husband that I do, he surprised me with a pandora bracelet the morning of our wedding and I've treasured it tightly ever since collecting and adding charms from time to time to mark special occasions.
To mark the arrival of our first child, we went and brought a charm in the shape of a teddy bear holding a blue ribbon to signify Ethan being a little boy.
Just recently an online jewellers named 'Hand on Heart' who are creators and designers of personalised jewellery and gifts kindly asked if I'd like to add another special sort of charm to my little collection. Intrigued I clicked over to their website and within an instant fell straight in love with their beautiful creations.
What makes them different and stand out from the crowd is the fact that their beautiful creations can all be completely personalised (and not just with a name) -- they are handcrafted using their customers loved ones handprints, footprints or even paw prints!
The special ordering system that they use is simple and actually lots of fun! They send out special printing kits that you use at home (you may have seen me taking Ethans prints via Instagram last week) so it makes it nice and easy for anyone in the world to order. The type of jewellery that they offer this service on includes charm beads (handcrafted to fit Pandora, Troll and Lovelinks), necklaces, bracelets, keyrings and more! They also have a Mini Artist Range so you can get gifts featuring your little one's artwork and messages!
As you can see I was very kindly sent one of their bracelet charms which has been personalised just for me! On the front is my little boys name next to his actual handprint and then on the back is his birth date and a print of his actual footprint. I couldn't really start to explain just how special it feels to have added this unique little charm to my collection. Whenever I am away from Ethan I'll be able to pop on my charm bracelet and look at his hand and foot prints whenever I start to feel a little sad without him. To me - this is the perfect gift.

I love this idea, I love anything that is personalised with my daughters name Elsie. My husband would love the keyring too. My most sentimental item is a gold bangle, that was given to my grandmother at the age of 17. She then passed it to my Mum on her 17th birthday, who then passed it to me. I look forward to giving it to my daughter. Love the blog by the way. X
