Hello April 2014 Style
A little thought popped into my mind this morning whilst scrubbing myself in the shower (..tmi? - sorry) and that was that April is a huge month for my little family and I.
We have quite a bit happening this month - Ethan turns a year old, which actually blows my mind because it's been the fastest year of my life! We have a party booked in that week as well as a day at the zoo and a meal out to a Mexican which is something that I've never actually tried before. My lucky Hubby also has the Gadget Show Live that week!
I go back to work, which completely scares me and almost brings me to tear, even though it is only for two days a week which really isn't all that much. I think I might do a separate post on going back to work as it's kind of a major thing.. well, it is to me anyway and I'm sure it is too to a lot of other Mummy's out there.
We have our first ever spa day booked. We're travelling to the New Forest for this and are staying in a very fancy location where we will relax all day, enjoy a massage each and lots of tasty food. Ethan's all booked in to stay with his Grandparents, so it will be a lovely break. This comes with thanks to the lovely PR people that read my blog, to whom we are forever grateful already. I/we absolutely cannot wait for this.
And obviously we still have lots and lots to do with the house, so even though that's all very tiring, it's pretty exciting to see each room become nearer and nearer to complete and feel that sense of accomplishment.
So, yeah, April's a big month.. as it was last year actually. April 2013 even got it's own blog post this time a year ago.. with the anticipation and excitement of the arrival of our first child (seriously, how has it been a year already?!).. If you fancy a little read of the blog post from last year it's HERE.
What's your big month this year?
Great post!! very informative.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for such a lovely and informative post.
Sounds like a great month and a busy one too. I totally get your nerves about returning to work. When I went back 3 days after my biggest daughter was born I was beside myself. You soon get used to it though I promise, although I didn't believe anyone when they told me that too! Your spa day sounds lovely, have an amazing time! x
ReplyDeleteTotally jealous of your spa day, something I have always wanted to do and take the Mr along, just not got around to it. Can't wait to read all about it xx

Wow! You do have a big month, but it sounds like its one of lots of fun milestones!
ReplyDeleteAww lovely! Time away with your hubby sounds perfect and is something I could really do with myself right now! Can't wait to hear all about it! I can't believe Ethan will be one! I started reading your blog when you were in your last stages of pregnancy. I can't believe it's been a whole year. August will be very exciting for me as I'm getting married then! xx
