I think just about everyone at some point in their lives played with building blocks of some sort. Building blocks are the type of toy that just somehow never get old to play with. They've come a long way though, even since from when I was younger. Now among the more traditional blocks there are awesome creations such as the ones below from one of the market leaders in building blocks, Mega Bloks, that serve to capture and inspire children's imaginations.
We were recently sent this big bundle from the lovely people over at Mega Bloks who wanted to hear our thoughts on their new range. I have to say that as soon as I unboxed them from their packaging jt was clear that we were going to love sitting down and playing with them with Ethan. I suppose it's the little characters and the bright colours that instantly hooked us in.
The Play 'n' Go tea party, though not targeted towards boys does look absolutely awesome. I have to say that I felt a little disappointed that this was just for an opinion rather than something that we could give to Ethan to play with. As a woman who was once a young girl myself, I have to say that this is something that would have been on my Christmas list. I love the pull along aspect of it, a perfect design for any young princess.
The two packs of characters are brilliant. A favourite of ours is the dragon. The characters are designed in such a brilliant way to really capture a childs imagination.
The tractor was Ethans favourite! But I already knew it would be, why?.. because it has wheels and as you all know by now, Ethan is obsessed with wheels! He loves pushing this along the floor and the trailer is a fantastic little feature. The block buddies are removable and can be changed depending on preference.
We also loved the first builders ship. As well as other great features it has, the back of the ship lifts up so that blocks can be stored inside of it, which is pretty impressive and great for tidying away.
It's great for both bath time play and playroom fun!
We highly rate the toys we received from the new Mega Bloks First Builders range and would recommend them to other families for interactive fun!
These new products join the existing Mega Bloks First Builders line up, which includes the iconic Mega Bloks First Builders Big Building Bag and a range of other pre-school construction play toys.
