Welcome along to 'Fridays Finest'!
To recap:
Fridays Finest is a blog post from me every Friday with things that I love from the week. It doesn't cover anything in particular, it's just be a mix of things that have made me smile from the week. This could be a blog post from a blog I've been reading, it could be a blog in general, it could be a product, a food, a film, a website etc etc. It's basically my way of sharing my weekly loves.
So let's begin..
1. Oliver's Card Collage
This beautiful framed card collage made by the lovely Joanna from My Little Rays of Sunshine really struck me this week. I am in LOVE with it and NEED to make one for Ethan because it is just completely beautiful and really creative as I'm sure you'll agree! Read more HERE.
2. Little Bird Told Me
I discovered 'Little Bird Told Me' this week when they sent us a cot mobile to review and literally from the moment I unpacked it I was in love! I've seen a few blog reviews this week about their different products including this one from Our Baby Blog where the 'Baby on Board' snail sign is reviewed and oh my gosh I WANT this so bad! It's adorable! Look out for my cot mobile review coming soon! P.S. Ethan loves it!!
3. River Island
I'm not a massive fan of clothes shopping. I like getting clothes but I'm not particularly fond of the process of obtaining them; all the rush and the constant getting undressed and back dressed again. Blergh. I also hate when I make an effort to go to a shop, only to find that nothing appeals or suits me. However, one shop that for me never fails to deliver is River Island. Take this weekend for example.. Adam and I went to London for a very exciting feature which I can't yet talk about [but oh my gosh I'm bursting to!] with the gorgeous sunny weather we decided to grab an ice cream which of course being the clumsy person that I am, I spilt on myself. So obviously since I couldn't walk around with a massive stain on me for the rest of the day, it was time to buy something new to wear! Result - Haha!
I had a browse around a few shops but couldn't find anything that suited me, or it would suit me but would emphasise my mum tum [not a good look!], but when I headed into River Island I came across SO many lovely things that were perfect and just what I was looking for. I ended up buying a lovely dress that looks a lot like the above, which I just LOVE. River Island delivers again!
4. Charlotte from www.writelikenooneswatching.com
Write Like No One's Watching is fast becoming my fave blog and there's one reason for this and that reason is, Charlotte, the writer. There are SO many great blogs about these days and often I find it hard to keep up with them all, but this is one that I always make time for! Charlotte is such a talented and funny writer. I love reading her blog posts and get so excited and slightly impatient waiting for what she has to say next! Check her amazing blog out HERE.
5. London Baby!
Linking in with number 3, where I told you that last weekend my Husband and I went for a day trip to London - I wanted to add London to this weeks Fridays Finest. Really, I shouldn't like London as much as I do. I like the quiet life, I don't like the rush, I don't like the amount of people piling in and out of shops, I could never live there. But there's something ever so slightly magical about being there and I can't put my finger on it. It's just exciting.
And that is it for this weeks Fridays Finest!
I really hope you've enjoyed reading! Let me know what you've been loving this week in the comment section below :)

ReplyDeleteBless you sweetheart. Likewise! And so is Alex. :) xx
DeleteYou are so beyond lovely sweetheart! Thank you so much. Also - in reference to your comment earlier, I used a Nikon D3100 and I can't recommend it enough, though I would plump for the 50mm lens rather than the kit lens suggested. :) xxx
ReplyDeleteYou're very welcome :)
DeleteWowzers, just had a google search on it - it's not cheap! I better get saving my pennies! xo
Aww this is a lovely post!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE London myself!! It has to be my favourite place in the UK to visit, I do enjoy the hustle bustle though!

Thanks Hayley. I like all the history there I think. xo
DeleteOoooooh, I love the idea of a card collage! I put Ethan's 1st birthday cards onto a binder ring to have them to flip through, but I've been wanting to do something fun with his 2nd birthday cards, too. That's a great idea!
ReplyDeleteI love Joanna's idea! I really do need to do it! x
